Who can come to Baby Bungalow?
Baby Bungalow is for ANY parent or caregiver of ANY child age 0-5 seeking information related to the development of children and strengthening of families. The facility’s unique open-door approach means no referrals are necessary to access the many resources of Baby Bungalow. New and experienced parents can benefit from a wide variety of child-related programs, classes, and enrichment activities.
Is daycare available at Baby Bungalow?
No. Baby Bungalow strives to promote the strong bonding of families through activities including both parent and child. It is not a drop-off care facility.
What are the costs for Baby Bungalow activities?
If you are registering for one of our five-week developmental playgroups at our South Tampa, 3106 West Azeele Street location, class fees are $25. Your presence here is what matters to us, fees can be waived upon request.
The three-week infant massage workshop is $15.
The two-hour sign language workshop is $10.
Baby & Me, My 1st Year, and Fun Friday are all offered free of charge with no need to register.
There is no cost to participants for services offered at our partner the Children’s Board Family Resource Centers.
How do I register for a Baby Bungalow class?
Register for our playgroups at http://babybungalow.eventbrite.com or call (813) 673-4646 x1147 or x1152 for further assistance. One of our friendly child development specialists will assist you with your playgroup choice and help you with your online enrollment. Your payment is your reservation.
If you wish to register for a “Baby Bungalow” playgroup at one of our partner Children’s Board Family Resource Centers, please note there are set registration days and times for these classes. More information is listed on their websites – listed below.
Can I bring a sibling or other child to a playgroup? Playgroups that require registration are only for the registered child. We only allow younger infants that are not yet crawling or walking, and can be worn or placed in a carrier.
