COA accreditation demonstrates that an organization meets rigorous, evidence-based standards and is dedicated to continuous improvement and best practices. As part of COA’s distinguished Community of Excellence, Champions for Children joins more than 2,200 organizations and programs across the globe that support over 7 million individuals and families.
The Council on Accreditation is an international, independent, not-for-profit accrediting organization, established in August 1977. It provides accreditation for the full continuum of child welfare, behavioral health, and community-based social services, ensuring that providers uphold the highest standards of care and accountability.
