Eagle Scout project results in playground’s construction
SOUTH TAMPA — In looking at the unutilized space outside the Baby Bungalow building on the Champions for Children campus at 3108 W. Azeele St., staff began discussing the possibility of a new playground.
The playground would create an outdoor learning environment to encourage almost unlimited learning opportunities
The pieces fell into place when Tim Glisson and his son, Trevor, who is working toward his Eagle Scout rank through South Tampa Boy Scout Troop 4, called Baby Bungalow to volunteer his services for his Eagle Scout project.
Trevor was a former Baby Bungalow attendee, which is a reason his parents encouraged him to give back to Baby Bungalow.
