Fashion show, silent auction part of luncheon
SOUTH TAMPA — When Shirley Gorgei-Wood walked into Deborah Kent’s, a boutique, she immediately spied a white pants set that she wanted to model for an upcoming fashion show.
“I walked in the door and saw it. It was different, fun, catching,” she said of the outfit that plans to wear in Saturday’s Brighter Tomorrows Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Tampa Yacht Club.
Gorgei-Wood is among 10 members of the all-volunteer organization who will be featured in the fundraising show. The organization awards grants to agencies in Hillsborough County that directly address the needs of children and adults that are victims of domestic violence.
