Every child deserves to grow up safe, loved, and free from harm.

We are preventing child abuse and building stronger families in Tampa Bay.

Too many children in our community are at risk because parents face overwhelming challenges along their parenting journey.

At Champions for Children, we work with families before crisis arises, equipping them with education, support, and resources that create safe, nurturing homes. By preventing child abuse, we ensure children can experience the positive childhoods they deserve.

By supporting Champions for Children, you are investing in child abuse prevention and giving children the chance to thrive.

The Need

88 hotline calls to report cases of child abuse and neglect are made a day.

50% of calls are made for children 5-years and younger.

3,800 children are in the Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties child welfare system.

25,000 babies are born each year in the Tampa Bay area.
