Be a part of our popular educational playgroups by providing extra support to staff and assisting participating families as needed! In this role, you work directly with families and should be comfortable around young children.

Schedule to be discussed based on program needs and volunteer availability.

Help families feel at home when they reserve our Baby Bungalow playground for a playdate! You will act as an extra support for families during this time and help with set up and clean up. In this role, you work directly with families and should be comfortable around young children.

Tuesdays 9:30am-11:30am at Baby Bungalow Playground

Help set up, facilitate, and clean up our “Messy Mornings” at Baby Bungalow! These activities consist of sensory play activities for young children and their caregivers. In this role, you work directly with families and should be comfortable around young children.

Select Fridays 9:30am-12:30pm at Baby Bungalow

Help families get enrolled in our Parents as Teachers home visiting program! In this role, you will call families directly, collect information for our intake process, and update their records in our referral tracking system. Must be comfortable talking on the phone and proficient with computer data entry. Bilingual is preferred; background check is required (we’ll cover the cost).

Flexible Weekdays, Azeele St. Campus

Explorers Club is one of our families’ most beloved programs, and you can be a part of what makes it special! In this role, you will be on hand to help with a variety of tasks as needed by staff members such as snack time, sibling watch, and assisting in transition times. You will work with children a variety of ages 1-12 and should be comfortable working with all age groups. Explorer’s Club is an 8-week summer program for parents with children ages 3-5 only (older siblings may be present, however). Parent and child will attend 2 days each week for approx. 75 minutes each day in the morning between 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.

June and July (M-Th 10am-12:30pm) at Layla’s House (individual volunteer schedules vary based on availability and need)

Help our hardworking childcare teachers take much-needed and well-deserved breaks during lunch and nap time. In this role, you will work directly with babies and toddlers and may be asked to assist with a variety of tasks as needed by the staff. Background check required (we’ll cover the cost).

11am-2pm (Most needed on Monday and Friday) at COVE Behavioral Health

We distribute more than 10,000 diapers to families in need every year – and you can help! In this role, you will assist with packing and labeling our diapers for distribution to families and keep the shelves in the diaper room stocked with diapers.

Flexible Weekdays, Azeele Campus

Transport books to our TALK READ SING Book Nooks in Hillsborough County. Picking the books up at our Azeele location and dropping them off at Book Nooks throughout the county.

Each year, we host two major fundraisers – our “Light the Way Soiree” in April, and our Inshore Fishing Classic in October – along with three to four Cheers for Champions networking socials and occasional other events for supporters and other community members. We are always in need of friendly volunteers to help with set-up, check-in, breakdown, and a variety of other activities that ensure each event is well-run, fun, and inspiring for participants!
