Champions’ Layla’s House program provides a warm environment where families in the Sulphur Springs neighborhood can gather to learn together and access a wide range of resources that help young children feel safe, nurtured, and supported to truly thrive.

Eddiesha is a participant at Layla’s House and a single mother of two children. When she found out she was pregnant with her second child, she was worried about her ability to raise and support another child and wasn’t sure if she could keep the baby. Eddiesha first came to Layla’s House as a participant in our Baby University program, which helps expecting parents prepare for life with a newborn baby. Eddiesha says the information and support she received gave her the confidence to know she could be a good mom to both her son and her new daughter. Now, Eddiesha is feeling confident, capable, and proud to be a mom of her two kids.
