BLOG: Today is #GivingTuesday

Give the gift of a happy, healthy childhood.

With the financial strain, isolation and stress caused by COVID-19, children in Tampa Bay are more vulnerable than ever. Being stuck at home, separated from people and organizations that we lean on for support is a traumatic experience for all of us. For children, it means a higher risk of abuse and neglect.

At Champions for Children, we believe all children deserve to be safe at home and successful in life. That’s why we’re providing virtual family education, resources, and individualized support available to any family in Hillsborough County who needs it. From WiFi for families in need to one-on-one virtual visits with our caring experts, all of our services are free, ensuring they are accessible to those who need them most.

When children are safe at home and supported to be successful in life, it makes Tampa Bay a better place for all of us.

This #GivingTuesday, here are three easy ways you can invest in our community’s future by giving the gift of a happy, healthy childhood:

    • Join our Champion Builders Monthly Giving Society by making a monthly gift of ANY size. You’ll receive personalized monthly updates on the impact of your gift, plus a free gift when you sign up! cfctb.org/donate
    • Make a one-time gift of ANY size. When you donate $1,000+, you’ll automatically become a member of our Champions Circle, which includes year-round recognition and invitations to exclusive events. cfctb.org/donate
    • Maximize your impact by launching your own #GivingTuesday fundraiser on Facebook, selecting Champions for Children, and then making a personal post on your page inviting your friends and family to donate. facebook.com/fundraisers
