In response to the coronavirus, Champions for Children is committed to being here for families who are experiencing stress – that’s why we have moved as many of our programs as possible to virtual or social distancing models. Our mission to help families stay strong and keep children safe is critical during this time of increased stress and isolation.

Champion for Children is here to help and offer access to warm, professional, no-cost support. Our programs are providing social distancing approved ways to support the families in our community. This week, we are highlighting how Positive Parenting Partnerships (P3), Layla’s house and Talk Read Sing Tampa Bay are helping parents and children daily.

Positive Parenting Partnership

Positive Parenting Partnership (P3) offers classes and workshops to help with parenting skills; healthy relationships among co-parents; marriage and couple stability; financial health; and to increase parenting confidence.

During a time such as this where we are all cautioned to #StayHome, our virtual programs give an excellent opportunity to learn new skills to implement with your child.

In an effort to continue to provide services to those in our community, P3 has moved all of their trainings and classes to an online platform called Zoom. The next set of virtual classes begin the week of April 6th and are open to everyone! The classes being offered this month are: Toilet Training 101, Managing Teens Emotions, Inspiring Co-Operation and Getting Along with Others.
