Raise Your SPARK

Free programs and support for adolescent parents in Hillsborough County

SPARK, Supportive Programs for Adolescents Raising Kids, offers free parenting support and resources for young expecting and current parents, primarily ages 13-19, in the Tampa Bay area. This program helps adolescent parents confidently navigate parenthood from the pre-natal stage through childhood. These include pregnancy resources, parenting classes, bonding and attachment support, and child development support for both young moms and dads.

With persistently high teen birth rates in Hillsborough County, SPARK responds to an urgent community need—creating brighter futures by equipping young parents with knowledge, connection, and care.

SPARK Services

We provide young parents with the education and support to build strong parenting skills and confidence. We also offer developmental screenings, helping parents feel supported and informed throughout their child’s growth.

Young parents in need of resources can rely on our team to help them navigate systems of care and support their overall well-being.

Support is critical at every phase of parenthood. That’s why we welcome teen parents to begin their parenting journey with our Teen Parent Collaborative, a supportive parent group of teens in the same life stage.

Thanks to the Broadrick Family Foundation, our generous funder, and Hillsborough County Public Schools and Camelot Community Care, our community partners.
