It’s a new year, and we’re pleased to announced that we’ve added 3 new members to our 2018 Board of Directors. Please join us in welcoming the newest members of our Board of Directors: Dina Hubaykah, Parker Rabow and Kay Annis Wilson!
Dina Hubaykah is a longtime supporter of this organization, and in particular, a steadfast advocate for our Layla’s House program. In 2017, she was a member of our 40th Anniversary Honorary Committee, honoring those who helped make the organization what it is today. Dina currently serves as a Board Member at the Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring. (Her husband, Dr. Joseph Hubaykah, MD, is a doctor of pulmonology and endocrinology at FMC’s Zephyrhills location.) In addition, Dina serves as President of the Morning Star School Advisory Board.
Parker Rabow is a Tampa native with an MBA from the University of South Florida. Parker is the director of Fantasy Fishing Camp, which he founded in 2012. the specialized day camp features professional fishing guides teaching kids all about fishing, from knot tying and net throwing to boating safety. Prior to this, Parker worked as a Financial Manger for Florida Cancer Specialists.
Kay Annis Wilson is a retired executive with more than 35-years of experience in business management and communications. Kay currently serves on the Board of Social Venture Partners Tampa Bay, a global network of community leaders focused on innovative approaches to philanthropy. Prior to this, Kay was worked in the Office of Government and Community Relations at Stanford University, and she was the founder and CEO of Circlepoint, a San Francisco based consulting firm. Kay has also served as communications coordinator for the Sulphur Springs Neighborhood of Promise, which includes Layla’s House.
Each of these individuals brings their own unique mix of skills, insight and connections, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to the Champions for Children family!
