Champions for Children is grateful to the Hillsborough County Medical Association Foundation for providing funding to support CFC’s Baby University.

A service of Layla’s House, Baby University is an eight-week series for expecting parents and parents of newborns. The series offers expecting parents the resources and education in preparation for having a new baby. Topics include forming healthy attachments, newborn care, childbirth education, child safety, car seat safety, promoting healthy brain development through play, and navigating health and nutrition conversations with pediatricians. At the class series’ conclusion, parents attend a mini baby shower and receive supplies that help get them jump-started on their parenting journey.

Established in 1895, the Hillsborough County Medical Association has served as the local voice for organized medicine and is dedicated to preserving the medical profession.

Champions is grateful for their support to our community and our mission of strengthening families for the growth of thriving children.
