Tampa Bay Restaurants Offering Free Kids’ Meals to Families in Need 

During this time of uncertainty, many Tampa Bay restaurants are stepping up to make sure no child goes hungry. Whether your family has been affected by the SNAP/EBT pause or is simply feeling stretched right now, these local restaurants are offering free or “pay what you can” meals.

Below you’ll find a list of restaurants across the Tampa Bay area providing free meals to children. Be sure to check each restaurant’s location and details before visiting, as hours and offers may vary.

Tampa & Surrounding Areas

• 7th and Grove (Ybor City) – “Pay what you want” dinners every Tuesday, 3–6 p.m. (one meal per person).
• Crossroads Hot Chicken (Tampa) – Free two-strip basket with a side for kids 14 and under, with purchase of a regular meal. Dine in, pick up, or delivery. 10284 Causeway Blvd.
• Skipper’s Smokehouse (Tampa) – Kids eat free Thursday through Sunday, all day. Dine-in only. No purchase necessary. 910 Skipper Rd.
• Oak & Smoke (Tampa) – Two free kids’ meals (12 and under) with the purchase of one adult entrée. Mention “Oak & Smoke Cares.” 2702 E Busch Blvd.
• Taco Bus (Multiple locations) – Kids eat free in-store, no purchase necessary, every day until benefits are restored.

Pinellas County

• The Dunedin Smokehouse (Dunedin) – “Dunedin kid bag” available for as many children as are present. 471 Main St.
• Parlor House Bistro (Dunedin) – Free bagged lunches (chicken tenders or ham & cheese sliders, banana, juice, and treat). 1757 Main St.
• Pisces Sushi and Global Bistro (Dunedin) – Free kids’ meals, noon–6:30 p.m., one per child. Call beforehand since daily offerings may vary. 799 Highland Ave.
• Gigglewaters (Safety Harbor) – Free “GiggleBags” for every child—bagged to-go lunch, no questions asked. 737 Main St. #104.

• The Living Room (Dunedin & Wesley Chapel) – Free bag lunches for children, no purchase is necessary.
• Thee Liberty Grill (Clearwater) – Free “Care Bags” for every child, including grilled cheese or chicken tenders, drink, and side. 1185 N Hercules Ave.
• HoggDaddys Beach Bar & Grill (Clearwater Beach) – Free kids’ meals (12 and under) when you mention the “HoggDaddys Community Rewards Program.” 752 Gulfview Blvd.

Pasco & Northern Counties

• Ice Dreammm Shop (Lutz) – Free kids’ ice cream cups for families affected by the SNAP/EBT pause. 23912 SR-54 No. 2.
• Emily’s Family Restaurant (Palm Harbor) – Free “Care Bag” meals for kids, including sandwich, side, and drink. 2609 U.S.-19 Alt.

Pinellas & Gulfport Area

• The Violet Stone (St. Petersburg) – Free “shutdown special” meal for families in need, available 4–5 p.m. daily. 2607 MLK St. N.

• Our Place (Location varies) – Free “We Care” bag lunches for every child present.
